Probably a good idea to check over all the nuts and bolts when you've not had the rig out of the garage for a few weeks. Then again, this more than likely happened on an errant pothole, not before leaving HQ; discovered it when a sharp left downhill turn felt a little weird - thought it was the stem bolts and found this instead....

Fortune has it that A - the bike stayed upright B- the stem stayed attached to the steerer C - it was all only 1/2 a mile from homebase. Fun little barefoot uphill walk home, counting blessings that it didn't end on the deck and in tears. Go ride.
